At first glance, the Japanese sofa appears minimalist, but a closer look reveals the refined details of its wooden frame and thoughtful construction. By separating the back from the frame with brass spacers, Finn Juhl continues his characteristic design language, where the supporting structure is clearly distinguished from what is carried.
The Japanese sofa is available in oak or walnut and is hand-upholstered in either textile or leather. The series also includes a three-seater sofa, an armchair, and a footstool.
