Piet Hein – Danish Design, Poetry, and Innovation

Piet Hein was a unique Danish thinker and designer, known for blending art, poetry, and geometry. Famous for creating the superellipse, a shape combining circles and squares, he transformed everyday objects like tabletops into elegant, functional designs.

His work ranges from furniture and lamps to wooden games, all reflecting his passion for beauty and practicality. Piet Hein remains one of Denmark’s most celebrated cultural figures, recognized worldwide for his creative impact.

At Nordic Urban GmbH, we offer select Piet Hein designs that bring together art, innovation, and timeless Danish style.
