The Person Behind Nordic Urban

From the age of six, I have viewed shapes and colors differently than those around me—family, friends, and peers. I’ve always been drawn to simplicity in form – and the challenge of solving complex tasks.

My first love was cars—their shapes, movements, and colors, intricately tied to their complex constructions. As a child, I would draw and build models of various types of vehicles. Over time, my passion expanded to include industrial design and its profound impact on our future, influencing our psyches, habits, and daily lives.

Growing up in Denmark instilled in me a deep appreciation for Scandinavian design—characterised by form, the good quality, and timeless appeal.

Since moving to Berlin in 2011, I’ve focused exclusively on what I do best: Creating and selling Scandinavian-quality furnitures and design solutions.

Today, I have over 35 years of experience as an industrial designer specialising in interior design, materials, and lighting – my passion for my work remains undiminished.
