The CH101 armchair was designed in 1970 and relaunched in 2008 to mark Carl Hansen & Søn’s 100th anniversary. Handcrafted upholstery on a beech wood frame, reversible down-and-foam cushions, and stainless steel legs give it an enduring elegance that works alone or as part of the CH102–CH104 sofa series.

Leather Options

Group A – Loke
Pigmented cowhide with a sanded, coated surface for a uniform appearance, with no natural marks. Durable, easy to clean, and suitable for both home and high-traffic commercial use.
Group B – Thor
Cowhide with a thin protective coating — softer and more natural-looking than pigmented leather. Practical enough for everyday use without sacrificing comfort.
Group C – Sif
Aniline is full-grain cowhide with no surface treatment — which means every hide carries its own natural markings, scars, and character. Over time it develops a rich patina that only improves with age and use. For those who want leather at its most honest and luxurious.
