Founded in 1943, Le Klint represents Danish lighting design at its finest, combining traditional craftsmanship with timeless aesthetics. The roots of the brand reach back to the early 1900s, when the Klint family developed the distinctive pleating technique for lampshades — a design heritage that continues to define Le Klint today. With the support of Kaare Klint, one of the leading figures of Danish Modernism, iconic designs such as the legendary Model 101 “Frugtlygten” were created.
To this day, Le Klint continues to manufacture in Odense, proudly preserving its hand-crafted production. With a clear focus on enduring forms, quality materials, and lasting beauty, the brand does not follow passing trends, but creates lighting designed to be appreciated for generations.
