Available in four sizes with fabric or leather options, the cushion is comfortable, environmentally friendly, and suitable for occasional overnight use. Designed in 2015 by Anders Hay, made in Denmark by Bernh. Pedersen & Søn, and individually numbered for authenticity.

Daybed No. 115 – Danish Modern Design

Daybed No. 115 combines classic Danish simplicity with modern comfort. The solid wood base appears to float above the legs, while the upholstered cushion provides a comfortable and relaxing seating experience. Hand-sewn buttons on the cushion form a simple square pattern, emphasizing the daybed’s geometric lines and understated elegance.

Available in four sizes, the 8 cm single-sided cushion is made from a blend of cold foam, Waterlily® foam, and fibre wadding — environmentally friendly, form-stable, and highly elastic. The daybed can also serve as an extra bed for overnight guests. The base is also offered as a standalone bedframe (BPS117).

With numerous upholstery options in fabric or leather, Daybed No. 115 suits both private homes and public spaces. Designed in 2015 by Anders Hay, it embodies the essence of Danish Modern design with clean lines, functional elegance, and expert craftsmanship.

Every piece is made in Denmark and individually numbered on final assembly.

Bernh. Pedersen & Søn, founded in 1902, is a family-run furniture maker with a proud tradition spanning three generations. Their mid-century golden era (1950–1970) produced some of their most iconic designs, including sideboards and daybeds, in collaboration with renowned designers such as Johannes Andersen, Svend Aage Madsen, and Kurt Østervig.
