Once a year, Finn Juhl’s distinctive Pelican Chair becomes available upholstered in sheepskin from the Swedish island of Gotland. When dressed in this rare material, the chair’s expression is entirely shaped by nature—each piece showcasing its own unique character through variations in color and texture. The soft curls and tonal shifts of the sheepskin highlight the Pelican’s sculptural, almost animalistic form, enhancing its organic silhouette.

Each chair is hand-upholstered in Denmark with meticulous attention to detail. The legs are available in oak, walnut, or a black-painted finish, allowing for a personalized touch that complements the natural upholstery.
